As you may recall from my last post I put a plan together and I’m happy to say food wise I’ve stuck with it. Yesterday was hard though as head hunger kicked in and there were several times I was about to chew my arm off!
I managed to work through the head hunger successfully by drinking water and keeping busy but it was certainly a struggle.
My meals over the last two days have consisted of mostly protein and veggies. I’ve stuck to protein shakes, greek yogurt with added nuts, eggs, cheese, meats and veggies. I’ve had some SF pudding as a snack.
So far, other than the head hunger the hardest thing has been missing the “crunch” factor from crackers. Also, I’ve been fighting a major headache and I had the sweats last night (this is unusual as I am ALWAYS cold!). Could this be my body going through withdrawal? LOL
This morning, I felt much better.. I didn’t feel as bloated as I had been and the added water has definitely helped with my skin! I decided to jump on the scale to see if any progress was made and in two days I’ve dropped 3 lbs! Now, I know that was probably water weight but I SERIOUSLY DO NOT CARE! 3 LBS is 3 LBS!
I guess the moral of the story is here is following the rules really does help!

Hubs and I have decided to go on another backpacking adventure in Europe this Spring! I’m so excited and will share details of our plans in an upcoming post!
Hubs and I are also attempting to not eat out this month. So far so good!
